Head-to-head clash vs. Barça Lassa in the fight to keep looking up in the standings

Valencia Basket will play its last Endesa League Regular Season game in the Fonteta in a direct duel of two teams with the seeded- condition vs. FC Barcelona Lassa (Saturday 19, 21: 15h, Fonteta, #0). The two teams can maintain their chances of being second with a victory (although none depends on itself), they can certify being at least third in case of winning (Valencia Basket must win by six or more points to win the particular basket-average to the Catalans and get it) or be permanently relegated to the fourth place if they lose.

 

A triumph of the taronja squad would also serve to put a 15-2 in the locker of local victories in Regular Season, something that would suppose a new second better mark of the history of the Club. And in passing would serve to extend a streak of triumphs in the Fonteta to this rival that already amounts to six wins in a row. On a night when Txus Vidorreta reaches 450 games in the Endesa League, the Taronja team will try to defend their status as the best defense of the Endesa League against an opponent that is the second best attack of the competition.

 

Valencia Basket will keep for the game the absences of the point guard Sam Van Rossom (hamstring strain left leg), captain Rafa Martinez (right knee), Tibor Pleiss (break fascia right foot), Latavious Williams and Antoine Diot. Valencia Basket currently occupies the fourth position of the Endesa League, with a balance of 22-10.
